Student Adoption Program
Day 1: Arrival Kuching (/L/D)
Meet and assisted upon arrival at Kuching International Airport by
flight (TBA) by a best tour guide representative and transfer to
Peraya village for 1hour and 0 minute estimated, upon arrival check
into homestay family . Free at leisure and socialize with the
village people’s, join them in soccer game or swim in the crystal
water river. Dinner and overnight.
Day 02: Help the community of the village;
(B/L/D)
Breakfast, Every participant will help their adopted family in their
farm or rice fields. Learn how this Bidayuh native works for lively
hood. Lunch and return back during noon time.
Tree planting activities
Tree planting will help in the maintenance of the rainforest to
ensure the young generation will have the chances of seeing the
rainforest and also help to educate about the important of taking
care of our rainforest. Free at leisure, dinner and settle for the
night.
Day 03: Help the community of the village

Day 05: Romantic Traditional Bamboo Rafting (B/L/D)
Breakfast, Adventure activities:
Enjoy the forest music around you, today, we all going to experience
how to make the bamboo raft and walking for the first time on Bamboo
Bridge traversing the rivers or the valley. Experience how to
navigate the raft drifting down stream and enjoy the beautiful
environment and wild orchids, epiphytes plants and lianas dangling
above our head. There lies in the lush vast forest plentiful of wild
vegetables and ferns. Follow the local folks to harvest these
vegetables where hence the skillful arts of cooking in bamboo still
hold story in the tribe tradition. Trek back to Peraya Homestay.
Dinner, and ready for traditional Bidayuh cultural performance.
Settle for the night.
Day 06: Adventure Trekking/Caving;
Breakfast, transfer and trek to the ancient head house that
still houses the centuries old skulls and the heritage ground is
where the “Pinyewa Bidayuh” settles themselves in olden days. Give
respect to the great warrior and pray goodness for the next day life
and ever. Trek to visit waterfall to swim. Transfer back to Peraya
village and lunch with adopted family.
Sport @ Game/ Farewell programmed, all participant and
village peoples will participate in game and sport activities in
Peraya village. Late afternoon was a farewell session for all
participants. (B/L/D)
Day 07 Orang Utan/City tour
Breakfast, transfer to Semenggoh Orang Utan Sanctuary, to see
the wild men of Borneo, the Orang Utan. See their unique human like
behaviour as they come out from the jungle for food during feeding
time. Enroute back to hotel stop by at pottery factory and then back
to hotel. Lunch Enroute.
Transfer for Kuching City tour, The tour includes the visit of the Tua Pek Kong temple, the oldest Chinese temple in Sarawak, built in 1876 and view the Fort Margarita from Kuching Waterfront. Proceed to the modern Civic Center to enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Drive by St. Joseph’s Cathedral, the Syariah (Muslim) Court, and the mosque built along the riverbank. Winding through the heart of the city, look out for the majestic Astana, the former palace of the White Rajahs, now the official residence of the Governor of Sarawak. Stop for few minutes in front of the old colonial Court House, complete with a Clock Tower and a granite obelisk built in memory of the second White Rajah, Charles Brooke. The highlight of the tour is the visit of the Sarawak Museum, one of the finest in South East Asia. It is a treasure house of artifacts and exhibits with great archaeological and cultural significance. Dinner at a local restaurant and return to the hotel.
